How will I receive my product key?

After completing your purchase, your license key and activation instructions will be sent to the email address you provided at checkout. Please check your spam or junk folder if you do not receive it within 2 hours.

Do I need to create an account to buy?

Activation

How do I activate Windows 10 or Windows 11 with my product key?

Go to Settings → Update & Security → Activation, click Change product key, enter your 25-character key and click Next. Windows will activate automatically online.

How do I activate Microsoft Office with my product key?

Open any Office application, click Activate Product when prompted, select Enter a product key, type your 25-character key and click Continue. Alternatively, visit setup.office.com, sign in with your Microsoft account and enter your key there.

How do I activate a MAK key?

Open Command Prompt as Administrator and run: slmgr /ipk YOUR-MAK-KEY, then run slmgr /ato. Activation completes automatically. For offline activation, use phone activation or the Volume Activation Management Tool (VAMT).

My key is not activating. What should I do?

First, make sure you are entering the key exactly as received, including all dashes. If the error persists, contact our support team at contact@softlicensedeals.com and we will assist you immediately.

Can I use my license key on more than one computer?

This depends on the license type. Retail keys are for 1 PC but can be transferred if the original PC is decommissioned. OEM keys are permanently tied to one device. MAK keys include a set number of activations for multiple devices. Multi-PC packs (5, 10, 20 PCs etc.) include the corresponding number of activations.

Do the license keys expire?

No. All license keys sold on SoftLicenseDeals provide lifetime activation. Once activated, your license is permanently valid and does not require renewal — unless you purchase a subscription-based product like Microsoft 365, which is renewed annually.

Technical Questions

Are Windows 11 Pro keys compatible with my PC?

Windows 11 requires a PC with a 64-bit processor (1 GHz+, 2 cores), 4 GB RAM, 64 GB storage, TPM version 2.0, UEFI Secure Boot, and a DirectX 12 compatible graphics card. If your PC meets these requirements, our Windows 11 Pro key will work.

Can I upgrade from Windows 10 Home to Windows 10 Pro with a key?

Yes. We sell Windows 10 Home to Pro upgrade keys that allow you to upgrade your existing Windows 10 Home installation to Windows 10 Pro without reinstalling Windows. Simply go to Settings → Activation → Change product key and enter the upgrade key.
